Noah Schnapp Comes Out

Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp, who is most known for playing Will Byers, has come out as gay

In a nonchalant video, Noah Schnapp stated, “When I finally informed my friends and family I was gay after being afraid in the closet for 18 years, all they replied was we knew,” in a clip that was uploaded to his personal TikTok account. “I guess I’m more like Will than I imagined,” he continued in his remark, alluding to his portrayal of Will Byers in the popular Netflix series.

In the video, he could be seen lip-syncing to an audio clip in the video and stating, “Do you know what it was never? That serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly, it will never be that serious.”

When asked about his Stranger Things character Will’s sexual orientation in a Variety interview in July, Noah Schnapp revealed that Will harbours romantic affections for his closest friend Mike (Finn Wolfhard). “They made it very real, now that he is older. Now that his homosexuality and love for Mike are undeniable, ” he said in an interview with Variety

Well, Noah Schnapp is out and we are here to cheer for him and he has our sincere congratulations!

It is widely known that Noah and Millie Bobby Brown, the actress behind Stanger Things’ main character Eleven, get along nicely. The two frequently exchange photos and videos. At first, there were rumours that the two were dating, and there have been tons of memes and speculations after they revealed in an interview their promise to marry after 60 if they are not married by then. However, they later emphasised that they were just best friends.

And, while Schnapp’s coming out has stirred up excitement about the forthcoming series of Stranger Things, specifically his portrayal of Will’s blossoming character, viewers will have to wait a little longer to learn how his narrative turns out. Season five of “Stranger Things” is now in pre-production, but isn’t due for release until 2024.
