Strange Way of life trailer drops

Pedro Pascal is set to star in a new gay western film called ‘Strange Way of Life.’

The film is directed by Rodrigo Garcia accredited for his work on ‘In Treatment’ and ‘The Affair’. The film is also written by Roberto Bentivegna, known for his work on “The Accountant” and “Rambo: Last Blood.”

Pascal is no stranger to playing complex characters. He gained worldwide recognition for his portrayal of Oberyn Martell in ‘Game of Thrones’ and more recently as the title character in ‘The Mandalorian’.

‘Strange Way of Life,’ will see Pascal play a gay cowboy steering through challenges of living in a society that rejects his sexuality. The movie is set to be a groundbreaking addition to the Western genre. Rumoured to explore themes of sexuality, masculinity, and acceptance in a time and place where being gay was not only frowned upon but could also be deadly.

The film’s title, “Strange Way of Life,” reflects the unconventional lifestyle of the protagonist and the struggles he faces as he tries to find a place to call home. Pascal’s character, Roy, will be an important representation of the LGBTQ+ community, shedding light on the experiences of gay men who lived during the time of the Wild West.
