Red, White & Royal Blue

Red, White & Royal Blue, the LGBT+ romantic comedy is already taking over the internet, and once released on August 11th on Prime Video, it will take over the world.

Focusing on Alex Claremont-Diaz, the First Son of the United States and his rivalry with the young prince, Henry, the current virality of this movie is proving its subject popularity across the world; LGBT+ romance. From Heartstopper to Sex Education, those within and even not within the LGBT+ community just can’t get enough of steamy, romantic narratives that leave viewers on the edge of their seats. Quite literally. It’s the will they, won’t they sense of anticipation that can feel so gripping.

On a more serious note, the Red, White & Royal Blue’s success, even before it’s been released, signals the dire need for the global entertainment industry to be more inclusive. While diverse representation in movies is on the rise, it is still nowhere near the level it needs to be. Let’s take Red, White & Royal Blue and the fact it is reaching a global stage as a strong step in the right direction.
